Empowering the community for a brighter future
Supporting The Community And Making A Difference
Malak Foundation is founded to support the community and spread a message of hope and compassion, and that change is possible. Our work aims to provide a holistic approach to solving some of our community’s biggest challenges
We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community and that collective action can significantly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good
Hope Is Where the Heart Is
Here at Malak Foundation, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits
Malak Foundation support team work with our partners to provide much-needed support in the areas of mental health, early childhood education and housing to disadvantaged families and individuals in the community
Our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential
Learning Passport Support - UNICEF
The Learning Passport, a groundbreaking e-learning platform accessible both online and offline, aims to enhance educational opportunities for Sudanese children affected by war and COVID-19.
In collaboration with UNICEF, Sudan's Ministry of Education has successfully digitalized national curricula for grades 1 through 8, including intermediate levels. This comprehensive content is now fully accessible on the Learning Passport, ensuring students in Sudanese schools, even those abroad, can benefit. Potentially benefiting 3.6 million out-of-school children in Sudan, the platform is a crucial educational resource.
Support For Communities
Malak Foundation supports disadvantaged individuals in the Victorian community by providing direct support in identified high-priority areas
In addition, our association works closely with the Sudanese communities in Victoria to address community integration issues for newly arrived community members to make their transition easy and deliver social and economic activities that will support members in need
Most of the Malak Foundation staff and volunteers are predominantly Sudanese-born and understand the multicultural barriers faced by the community. This understanding of the community integration pathways is vital for our success in providing much-needed support to individuals and families
“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.” — Coretta Scott King
