As I reach my 30th blood donation milestone today, I'm inspired to send a heartfelt reminder to our incredible community: You can make a real difference with just a little bit of your time.
Blood donation costs nothing but time and has the power to save lives. With three blood donations needed every minute, your blood truly matters. So, I encourage you to mark your calendar and make a blood donation a New Year's commitment to giving back and supporting those in need.

To those who have donated before or continue to do so, thank you for your wonderful help to others. Your kindness and compassion are appreciated for saving lives.
If you haven't donated blood before, there's nothing to worry about. Most centres offer free parking and provide snack food, including refreshing milkshakes, after the donation.
