Iftar @QVM

You are invited to the first ever Street Iftar in the City of Melbourne.

People of all faiths and backgrounds are invited to share a meal with the Muslim community for the first time at QVM in the City of Melbourne on the 12th of April 2023.

SalamFest will host a street iftar at Queen Victoria market, which will be an opportunity learn more about Ramadan and to celebrate our contributions to the wider community.

The iftar, or breaking of the fast, takes place following maghrib (sunset) prayers each evening during the sacred Islamic month of Ramadan.

We would love people join us at the iconic Queen Victoria markets Testing Grounds site, to break bread and experience breaking of our fast, and engage in meaningful conversations.

The iftar will be at Testing Grounds site, Queen Victoria markets, from 5:30 pm on the 12th of April 2023.
