Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via KfW and implemented by AECF in partnership with 249Startups, the Sudan SME Catalyser program aims to empower entrepreneurs and companies to overcome challenges, sustain productivity, and explore new horizons in the face of adversity.
An Opportunity for Sudanese Growing Businesses
The Sudan SME Catalyser Growing Business Window presents a unique opportunity for Sudanese businesses that are ready to take the next step in their growth journey. This program, tailored to the specific needs of Sudan's Eastern areas including the Red Sea, Kassala, and Al Gadarif, offers a range of support including technical assistance, funding through two channels (Growing Business Window grants and Emergency Funds), and more.
Who Can Apply?
If your Sudanese business is at least 2 years old, well-operated, or expanding in Sudan, and operates in sectors such as Agribusiness, Renewable Energy, or ICT & Digital Solutions, you are eligible to apply for the Sudan SME Catalyser program. The program provides funding ranging from €250,000 to €750,000 to help businesses:
- Recover and expand operations
- Increase working capital

- Create jobs
